I LOVE doing activities with dinosaurs in my classroom! Any story that I can read or game we can play with these prehistoric creatures always keeps my kiddos engaged. This simple dinosaur rhyming game is a fun and easy way for kiddos to work on rhyming word pairs.
LET’S PREP!
To prep this activity, print the cards on cardstock for durability. Then, laminate and cut out. Make sure to cut on all of the “zig zag lines” to make your puzzles.
LET’S PLAY!
To play this game with my kiddos, we first played in a small group so that my students could learn how the game worked.
I put the orange dinosaur cards in one container, and the blue dinosaur cards in another container so that they would stay separated!
To play, all that students needed to do is match the cards together to make rhyming pairs!
Students kept playing until all of the dinosaurs were matched.
Then, we cleaned up by putting the dinosaurs back into the container so it was ready to go for next time!
