My students LOVE themed activities during centers! This alphabet letter matching game is a great way to keep students engaged and work on the alphabet at the same time.
LET’S PREP!
To get this activity ready, all that you need to do is print the game on cardstock, laminate for durability, and cut out the pieces! I then separated the game into two piles: gumball machines (capital letters) and gumballs (lowercase letters).
LET’S PLAY!
To play the game, students need to match the correct gumball (lowercase letter) to its gumball machine (capital letter).
I first played this game with my students in a small group at my teacher table, but then it became a great game for students do at an independent center for review!
